Early Voting on Campus Oct 31-Nov 2

SUBJECT: Opportunity for Registered Voters to Vote Early on Campus

UT faculty, staff and students who are registered Knox County voters may vote early in the upcoming State and Federal General Election at the University Center. The voting center will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 31, Nov. 1, and Nov. 2, 2006.

Be sure to bring your Knox County Voter Registration Card.

Voters will vote for governor and for individuals who will serve the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, state senate, and the state house of representatives. Voters also will consider amendments to the Tennessee Constitution and Knoxville City and Knox County charters.

Any qualified Knox County voter can vote at any Vote Early location.

Official Election Day is Nov. 7, 2006.
