Invitation to "Take a Break on Us"

SUBJECT: Invitation to "Take a Break on Us"

In an effort to improve the Knoxville campus's response to the Employee Satisfaction Survey and to make sure we're hearing from you, I'm inviting all employees to take a break on us one morning next week.

We're setting up at various locations on campus to serve coffee and doughnuts to any employee who completes the survey. First come, first served. Both computerized and paper surveys will be available, and we'll take steps to protect privacy and ensure anonymity. All employees must bring their UT staff/faculty identification card.

The "Take a Break" stations will be operating on the following dates:

TUESDAY
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. -- Facilities Services building, 1st floor, Room 110

WEDNESDAY
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. -- University Center (In front of the Money Wall)*
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. -- The Cafe at the Arena, Thompson Boling Assembly Center & Arena
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. – UT Conference Center, second floor (in front of elevators)

THURSDAY
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. -- Presidential Court Cafe

FRIDAY
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. -- University Center (In front of the Money Wall)*
8 a.m. to 10 a.m. -- The Cafe at the Arena, Thompson Boling Assembly Center & Arena

*Rain location - In front of Smokey's, 1st floor, UC

We thank all employees who've already taken the survey, and we will also treat them to a coffee and doughnut from the sites.

Additionally, all employees can qualify for a drawing to win one of four $50 gift certificates to the new Bridgeview Grill at the Boathouse. Workers will provide separate forms to enroll employees in the drawing, whether the employee takes the survey that day or has already completed it on their own.
