Family Campaign Update and Celebration

I'm pleased to announce the successful results from the recent Family Campaign. Because of your participation and generosity, we were able to raise a significant amount of money. Every college or unit on the Knoxville campus participated, and employee giving has increased 134 percent since 2004!
I invite you to celebrate this remarkable achievement at an Ice Cream Social from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 18, in Circle Park. All employees are welcome to stop by the park for ice cream from Mayfield Dairy.
At 1:30 p.m. Dan Murphy, professor in the College of Business Administration and chair of the UT Knoxville Family Campaign, will announce the total amount raised and present a check on behalf of all UT employees. We also will draw the names of 30 employees who will join me in the Chancellor's Skybox for the UT vs. Arkansas State football game on Sept. 22. All employees who have contributed to the Family Campaign are entered in the drawing.
I hope you are able to join me on June 18 to celebrate the successful fundraising campaign and your dedication to the university. Our employees help fulfill the unique mission of the university every day. Your commitment to our students and their education sets the standard of excellence for the university and its lasting traditions.
