Interviews for Vice Chancellor Positions

I'm pleased to announce the interview schedule for the three vacant Vice Chancellor positions:

  • Dr. Susan Martin, applicant for Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
  • Ms. Margie Nichols, applicant for Vice Chancellor for Communications.
  • Mr. Mark Paganelli, applicant for Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.
  • Mr. Chris Cimino, applicant for Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.

Starting next week, each candidate will spend a day meeting with students, faculty and staff to discuss their thoughts about the position and in various interview settings.

Each candidate also will participate in a campus forum, which will be webcast live and archived. Each candidate's resume is available for download.

The forum schedule is:

  • Dr. Susan Martin — 3 - 4 p.m., April 28, University Center Shiloh Room.
  • Ms. Margie Nichols — 4 - 4:45 p.m., April 29, 223-224 University Center.
  • Mr. Mark Paganelli — 3 - 4 p.m. May 4, University Center Shiloh Room.
  • Mr. Chris Cimino — 3 - 4 p.m. May 6, University Center Shiloh Room.

As you may know, Dr. Martin is serving as the interim provost and senior vice chancellor for academic affairs. Ms. Nichols is serving as the interim vice chancellor for communications. Mr. Paganelli is currently the executive director of the University of Tennessee Office of Audit and Consulting Services. Mr. Cimino is currently an assistant vice president in the University of Tennessee Office of Budget and Finance.
