Position AnnouncementDEAN, COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION The University of Tennessee invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of the College of Communication and Information. The University of Tennessee, Knoxville comprising thirteen colleges, is the state's land grant and flagship research institution and is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as research extensive. The College of Communication and Information consists of four schools — the School of Advertising and Public Relations, the School of Communication Studies, the School of Information Sciences, and the School of Journalism and Electronic Media. The College offers bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of disciplines. It includes 46 tenured/tenure-track faculty, 1,500 undergraduate, and 350 graduate students.
