LGBT Advocate Award

The University Commission for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) People requests nominations for the LGBT Advocate Award to be presented at the 2011 Chancellor's Honors Banquet. The award recognizes outstanding leadership and contributions in promoting an inclusive and safe campus climate that respects the diversity of sexual orientations and gender expressions at UT. The recipient will have demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of LGBT issues on campus and made a tangible impact through dedication to and support of the university's LGBT population. All UT Knoxville employees, including administrators, faculty, exempt staff, and non-exempt staff, are eligible for the award.

To nominate a faculty or staff member for the award, please complete and submit this form along with a letter of nomination describing the nominee's specific contributions in meeting the award criteria. A current vita or bio of the nominee is also requested along with the nomination form.
