LGBT Student Leadership Award
The University Commission for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) People requests nominations for the LGBT Student Leadership Award to be presented at the 2011 Chancellor's Honors Banquet. The award recognizes outstanding student leadership and contributions in educational,social, and/or political activism for LGBT people at UT. The recipient will have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the issues of sexual orientation and gender expression on campus and made a tangible impact through advocacy for the university's LGBT population. All graduate and undergraduate students at UT Knoxville are eligible for the award.
To nominate a student for the award, please complete and submit this form along with a letter of nomination describing the nominee's specific contributions in meeting the award criteria. A current vita or bio of the nominee is also requested along with the nomination form.
