Chancellor’s Update for Students: April 30, 2020
I know this was the week you’re supposed to be excited because you’re almost finished with exams.
There’s a great feeling of a rush when it’s all over with.
And this exam week is a little different than others. It’s not what any of us wanted.
But I want you to remember: you have shown so much resilience, so much tenacity. Don’t forget what you’ve accomplished.
You’ve made it through a battle and you’ve done really well, and I’m impressed with every single one of you.
I want you to know that we’re cheering you on.
Many of you are wondering, “What’s going to happen in the fall?”
I can tell you right now we’re planning every day for how we can be back in the fall. We have to consider various scenarios and we’re doing that work now.
So just be assured, we’re working on your behalf.
We can’t wait for you to get back. So stay safe this summer.
I look forward to welcoming you back to Rocky Top. Go Vols!
