Supporting Our International Students
Dear colleagues,
This week the Department of Homeland Security listened to the call of university chancellors and presidents across the country and rescinded guidelines that limited our international students’ ability to engage in online coursework.
We advocated for, and welcome, this decision. International students are important members of the Volunteer community, and we will continue to support them.
We appreciate the work of the Center for Global Engagement, the Graduate School, academic affairs administrators, and each college to ensure that our international students remain enrolled and have what they need to be successful scholars here.
Now more than ever, it is important that we pull together as Volunteers to support one another and our communities.
