I am beyond proud that we have finalized our new strategic vision following the Board of Trustees’ unanimous approval on Friday. This vote marked the final step in a process we began as a campus in December 2019 and has led to the creation of a bold new blueprint for the future of the state’s flagship land-grant university.
I invite you to visit the strategic vision web page, where you will find a broad overview of our vision, mission, and goals as well as access to a detailed document outlining objectives, priorities, and metrics. I look forward to working with all of you to bring to life the ambitions we have set for ourselves and the people of our state.
Finally, I want to extend my deep gratitude to Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor John Zomchick and Chancellor’s Professor Suzie Allard, whose leadership guided this vision from its inception. I am also grateful for the contributions from the hundreds of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and members of our broader communities who served on committees, attended listening sessions, and provided feedback on drafts.
This vision is truly a reflection of all of us and our hopes and aspirations for our future.
