Hello faculty and staff, colleagues and friends. I hope you are as excited as I am to begin this new semester.
It’s always energizing to have our community back on campus after the summer break, but what I’m really excited about is where we are headed as a university.
We are celebrating another record enrollment. We’re also anticipating record retention this year. That’s great news.
In fact, we are seeing records all over the university in fundraising, athletic success, research, state support and more.
Thank you to each and every one of you for what you’ve done to contribute to this good news. We are a university on the rise. I want us to celebrate the success and capitalize on the great momentum. Now is the time to start dreaming about possibilities.
This is going to be a great year and I can’t wait to get started with all of you.
