Over the past five years, we have achieved record student retention and graduation rates, unprecedented fundraising, and historic athletic success. We’ve reached higher research expenditures than ever before and continue to receive recognition for our top faculty and students.
We have committed ourselves to becoming the model of the modern land-grant university and strive to put the people and communities we serve first.
As we continue to meet the goals that we have set for ourselves, it is time to think about what comes next. What will it take to bring UT to the next level?
There are three areas where I think we can build on our existing strengths to distinguish ourselves among the best universities in the country: an unparalleled student experience, high-impact research, and the best athletics department in the nation.
