Plowman Begins Term as SEC Executive Committee President

June 30, 2025

UT Chancellor Donde Plowman will begin her two-year term as president of the SEC Executive Committee on July 1. Plowman has been a member of the committee since 2022 and previously served as vice president.

The executive committee is comprised of three officers of the conference and four individuals—a chief executive officer, a director of athletics, a senior woman administrator and a faculty athletics representative—who are all elected during the regular annual conference meeting. The committee’s primary responsibility is fiscal oversight, including approving the conference’s annual budget.
