Hello, Vols! I am thrilled to be back here on Rocky Top and to have the opportunity to be your next chancellor. This is a special place—rich in history and tradition that guide the way for us.
It is an honor to be a Tennessee Volunteer—someone who puts others before themselves and serves their community with pride.
Together, as Volunteers, we are engaged in important work—educating and preparing students for productive lives and transforming our world with our research and creative activities.
As the state’s land grant university we are committed to strengthening communities
throughout the state of Tennessee.
I look forward to conversations about how we can do these things even better.
I can’t wait to get started on July 1. I hope you each have a great summer and a very special congratulations to all of our graduates.
