Re-Imagining Fall Task Force Briefing
Dear colleagues,
This morning, our senior leadership team received its first briefing from the Re-Imagining Fall Task Force. I am deeply grateful to the task force co-chairs, Dean Steven Smith and Dean Ellen McIntyre, for their leadership and their effort to build broad representation into the group’s work. Across the task force and its six subcommittees are 71 faculty and staff members representing different disciplines and perspectives.
Your input is important to this process, and the task force has set up a way to gather feedback from across campus. They have already heard and shared a lot of thoughtful feedback received over the weekend. I encourage you to keep engaging with their work in the coming weeks and months.
The task force will continue to update the senior leadership team over the coming weeks, and I have asked the chairs to submit a report by May 18. The report will not be the end of this process, but it will provide important planning information as we move toward the fall semester.
Thank you, as always, for all that you do.
