Phased Return to Campus
Dear colleagues,
This morning you received a message outlining the beginning stages of what will be a slow and careful return to work on campus over the course of the summer.
Above all, I want to reiterate that our leadership team is committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our campus and the broader community. That is why we will be moving deliberately through this phased return and relying on the latest data and guidance from public health experts at UT, the CDC, and local and state health departments to drive our decisions.
Just as our top priority is protecting our community, your top priority must be taking care of yourself and your family. If you have concerns about your return as we move through these phases over the next several months, please talk to your supervisor. I have asked that each department and unit remain flexible and mindful of the responsibilities and circumstances of individual employees.
Details about each phase, our expectations, and the safety measures we are taking are documented on our website.
Thank you for all you do and for your understanding as we work through this process together.
