Thank you for your hard work and commitment
Dear colleagues,
This fall we faced unthinkable challenges. Yet each of you, time and again, demonstrated your commitment to our students and our university. Together, we revamped courses to meet the needs of students learning virtually and in the classroom. We launched a large-scale community testing program. We drafted new health and safety protocols, expanded our quarantine housing, adjusted how we served meals, moved resources online, and shifted considerable student life activities to a virtual environment. Throughout it all, our staff remained dedicated to keeping our campus clean, safe, and operating smoothly.
We could not have made this semester a success without your dedication, compassion, and creativity. Thank you.
I hope that you enjoy your well-earned break next week. Use this time to take care of yourselves and safely connect with your families and loved ones. We still have a lot of work to do as we prepare for the spring semester. While things will not be back to normal, we have learned a lot about how we can keep our campus healthy. With the distribution of a vaccine under way, we are all looking forward to the brighter days ahead.
Thank you again for all your hard work and your commitment to our students and to one another.
