Chancellor Plowman Announces 2024-2025 Chancellor’s Leadership Academy Class
Chancellor Donde Plowman has announced the third class of the Chancellor’s Leadership Academy.
The nine-month program brings together 20 emerging leaders from across the university to further develop their personal and professional leadership skills. Each month the group will meet with Chancellor Plowman and other top university leaders to focus on an area of professional and personal leadership skills.
This year’s class includes deans, directors, associate deans, department heads, faculty and staff from various academic units and auxiliary departments.
“I am excited to spend the next nine months with this talented group of colleagues as explore themes of leadership and learn from one another,” said Chancellor Donde Plowman. “This program has been a valuable opportunity for both those who participate in it and everyone at the university who benefits when we have strong and thoughtful leaders across campus.”
Throughout the course participants are encouraged to develop relationships with their colleagues to cultivate a unified campus culture.
The academy held its first meeting on September 11.
