During this time of social distancing, direct conversations with faculty, staff, and students have never been more important.
These awards represent a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students and a tremendous recognition for our university.
Protecting our community, our health care workers, our neighbors, and our loved ones is the most important priority right now.
We are working on identifying who was responsible and examining how to prevent racist acts like this from happening in the future.
Faced with an act of racism disguised by online anonymity, we stand together as a Volunteer community to make our campus—in person and online—a place where every member feels welcome.
